Can't quite collect all my thoughts regarding the Nashville Flood. I capitalize it because it just is that big. This is the best video I've seen so far. This really gives the outside world a good idea of just how bad this is.

Distraction

So distracted today. So much on my mind. So little time. So little brainpower. I've got it! Write something.....

The brick path I built in the backyard had a mishap in the storm. Niece #1 is coming in town....or so she says. God, those weeds I pulled are not showing their faces AGAIN are they? Arizona did what? The GOP voted against Financial Reform? There is a FaceBook page of "Christians" praying for the death of our POTUS? I don't have to buy Niece #1 a car now....after all the work I put into it? I really want to create an "art piece" for the backyard. What the hell am I making for dinner? How many times has that load STILL in the washer been washed now? My office is still a mess after the repair to the ceiling. Comcast 1 Net Neutrality 0. I weigh how much now?.....yada, yada, yada.

Focus, where are you today? One thing at a time.

Conan O'Brien - TBS now called: The Best Station

So glad Conan found a home. Hell, I would have watched him on the Home Shopping Network. But Conan on cable will be an excellent choice. He'll get to be him. I can't wait.

Loveless Cafe's Carol Fay Ellison dies

I'm so sorry to hear this. Carol Fay Ellison died of an undisclosed illness today. She was quite the national celebrity and a great ambassador of both Nashville and The Loveless Cafe.

Happy April Fool's Day, Y'all!

Went online this morning and this is what greeted me. Of course, I was a little thrown until later I found a nice little article on the April Fool's pranks going on around the country. The jokes have begun. This particular joke was a nod to Topeka, Kansas. Topeka decided to start calling the city "Google" in hopes of winning Google's affection and locating a facility there. So, Google returned the favor.
